The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle Book Review

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle is the secret to freedom from worry. The book is an amazing explanation of how the present has been ignored by us by constantly thinking about the past or future. Our mind is being controlled by ego. Instead of making the brain control your thoughts, take control over it. Feel more and think less.

You are not your mind. Be present in any situation that you are in.. Continuous Moments shouldn’t be ignored by thinking about past or future. Your focus should be on your present moment or the activity or people in your surrounding. If you are feeling that you are not in the present moment or you aren’t enjoying this moment, take a three-step action: make a way from the situation, make a change in it, or simply accept it.

Observe your mind. Watching the thinker. When you overthink, overthink or worry, observe without any judgement. Take it easy, stop overthinking. Focus on what is positive in your surroundings. To protect ourselves, we mostly think about negative thoughts. It is good for survival, but it attracts negativity, anxiety, and stress. Be aware of what you think and replace it with more positivity that keeps anxiety away from you. Heal your pain and accept it. Don’t let a past emotional pain take control of your future. Face this trauma; heal it so that it could not create a burden in your future.
