A Part Of Me By Anouska Knight Book Review

Sometimes, you have to let yourself be vulnerable to truly embrace love.

A Part of Me Anouska Knight is an inspiring book full of emotions. This book is an emotional story of a couple and their wish to adopt a child. The book explores the themes of a mother’s love for her child coupled with the emotional story of the couple. Healing is a part of life, and it keeps going throughout life, but make sure your future is not disturbed by your past trauma.

A Part Of Me Book Summary:

The story explores the life story of Amy and James. Amy loses her husband, Rohan, and is still struggling with that trauma. Her grief and how much she is handling in her heart truly explain the strength of her love for her past husband. Amy is deeply struck by her loss, and the arousing wish to have a child adds to her trauma. The feelings of past loss, loneliness, a sense of grief, and her relationship with James keep her hurting.

Amy finds comfort in adopting a child because she wants her family to be complete. Struggling through the sense of loneliness and grief, she is deeply involved in a strong desire to have kids and wants to adopt one, acknowledging the fact that she can’t have kids. She is so deeply involved in her desire for a child’s adoption that she can’t get over it.

Moreover, James’s secret grief adds to the emotional part of the story.

Amy’s grief and sorrow in the book—a part of me gets deeper when she gets to know about James’s secrets he was hiding the whole time. James lost his parents in an accident and is struggling through that unforgettable loss. Unrevealing James’s secret added to the strength of the connection between Amy and James and the power of helping their partner to heal through mental stress. Their connection becomes deeper and full of love and care. Overall, the fear of not fulfilling the desire to adopt a child in Amy’s mind and the fear of losing more connections in James’s mind was so natural to keep readers connected with the novel.
